Villeneuve's early season dominance of the grids sees him continue to dominate in the 1997 SuperGrid, closely followed by Williams team-mate Frentzen and then Michael Schumacher. Even with another 8 races to go in the season, it seems that one of these three will take the final pole in 1997.
Villeneuve is still in top spot, based on both position and time.

This year's SuperRacepoints out what a difference a car can make - Trulli's performances in the Minardi and the Prost show this clearly.
Frentzen's recent "bad" results see him slide down a few positions.
Not that long ago, it looked as though Hill was solidly tied to last position in the 1997 SuperRace. His better results - actually finishing - over the last few races have seen him climb quite a few positions. The Minardi team dominates the bottom positions.
