Welcome to ATLAS TEAM F1!

Welcome to the first hypermedia journal dealing with motorsport. The journal's purpose is to be a forum for articles, reviews, and commentary about the greatest sport of all time: Formula One. As an alternate to r.a.s.F1, we're providing an avenue for 'lengthy' discussion from all F1 fans on the net. Short discussions, comments, and stated preferences have faired well on the F1 newsgroup. However, ATLAS TEAM F1 will exist for those who wish provide lengthier arguments, facts, and reviews.

We strongly urge you to submit writings on the subject. Essentially, if you are an F1 fan, this is your journal, so don't hesitate to send your ideas for submission. If you feel your grammar stinks, don't worry, we'll edit your piece so it'll be acceptable (although we're by no means perfect ourselves). ATLAS TEAM F1 does not require submissions from professional writers; we're mainly concerned with the ideas you present. Don't hesitate about stating radical opinions. We tend to like controversial pieces. Therefore, as editors, we're mainly concerned with the strength of your argument.

It's hard to say that acceptance will be rigorous. Especially since this effort is in its infancy. All submissions will have a good chance of getting in. However, as time passes and races are completed, we hope that competition becomes fierce for space on the page. As a result, we hope that supply some sort of pride for the authors of pieces selected for 'publishing'.

It is our intention to make this journal the pride of the F1 community here on the net. As I stated earlier, this is your forum. Please don't hesitate to supply suggestions as well as submissions.
